goodbye winter

As winter draws to an end, I find myself missing the few magical days when snow actually fell on our island. I hope it happens again next year.

Only yesterday I was looking back at some photos of our winters in 2010 and 2011 when we had some exceptional snowy and cold days. My son was only a couple of years old then but you can see the sheer joy on his face as he plays in the snow. There is something magically about it when it is something you don’t experience every day. So far this winter we’ve just had one small dusting!
