It’s easiest when they’re growing on something like a log or mossy rock. For this shot my camera was practically on the ground — thank goodness for flip screens.
I really like this macro-world of mushrooms, I think the weather in my neighbourhood has been to dry this year since there are almost no mushrooms at all in the forests. Very nice close-up and I (always) enjoy that you’ve made a black and white choise.
They are amazing the way they just pop up.
And the rain seems to melt them like the Wicked Witch of the West!
Lovely shot. I find it really hard to get good mushroom photos!

And the prettiest ones are the deadliest, it seems. 🙂 Lovely shot.

I’ve only seen the plain or downright ugly ones around here. Thank you!
Excellent! I love mushrooms. 🙂 Of course, they are just a small tip of what the whole organism consists of!
Thanks, Tom!

Thank you! The mushrooms were a bland beige, so black and white seemed the way to go here.
I can understand that!
I love mushrooms. While studying mycology, my first thought was about them. Mushroom isn’t just a name, it’s the ambassador of fungi.
