After a delightful visit of several days, Jack Frost packed his bags and departed this weekend, leaving us with only memories of crystallized landscapes sparkling white in the winter sun.

Sometimes when I’m out early in the morning, I’ll see a few bumblebees sleeping on the daisies.
a nice place for a nap
I’ve read that male bumblebees don’t always return to the hive at night, instead finding a resting place in a bush or on a flower, where they remain until the sun warms them up the next morning. A couple of minutes after I took this picture, the sleepy bee stirred, did a few calisthenics, and then flew off.
