I must down go to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying. ~ John Masefield, Sea Fever
A perfect match of words and photo, bringing to mind the longing to see glorious things.

Thanks Janet. I almost skipped this challenge thinking I didn’t have an appropriate photo, then remembered I took this one a few days ago.
Yes, this is a great response to the theme. I’m scratching my head at the moment.
Thank you! I contemplated going out and photographing a long stretch of road, until I remembered I had this photo.
I love Mansfield’s poem and you’ve paired it with a perfect sky and sea.
Thanks very much!
beautiful!!
Thank you!
Sweet! 🙂
We used to sail a lot when we were younger. (On small lakes and on Lake Michigan.)
I’ve only been on a sailboat a couple of times, but remember how fun it was.
Perfect quote and photo for this week’s challenge!
Thank you!
Love the blue sky, blue mountain, and blue sail, must be that time of day to get this light reflection. Wonderful photo for the challenge!
Thank you!
