I made a quick trip down to the beach this morning, exploring the interesting rock formations and the way they interacted with the surf. I would have stayed longer but my camera battery died — there is so much more to discover here.

Those days when the camera battery dies are familiar here too! 🙂 Awesome pic!
Yeah, it’s a bummer, but also an excuse to go back.
You’ve captured lovely shades of grey, blending water and sky. You are so fortunate to live by water. Pender is an inspiring place to be.
Thank you! I know I’m lucky to live here.
Nice! The horizon looks very far away from this perspective.
Yes, for sure. I wanted to give the rocks most of the focus.
It looks like a great place to explore. Lovely photo.
Thanks! It’s a beach I hadn’t really paid much attention to before, so I look forward to getting to know it better.
I’d feel bad about the battery, but I know you’ll be back and I’ll get to see more. 🙂
janet
I’ll be back for sure (and with a fully charged battery).
this is the second one where i have wondered how you are getting the photo without getting wet? it almost looks as though you are lying on the beach or in the water.! you help us see in intriguing ways.
Haha, no, I didn’t lie on the beach. I just had my camera on a low tripod just out of reach of the water. A wide angle lens did the rest! 😉
Cool!
