almost gone (3 images)

I took these shots a few days ago. The big windstorm and subsequent heavy rains have stripped the deciduous trees around our place, but further inland the leaves are mostly still hanging on.

Beautiful artistic shots, I love them!
Here autumn has only just started. It was dry for a long time and still warm. Recently we had some rain and colder nights and the trees are coloring quickly now. Best time of the year for me 🙂

Beautiful photos. I love taking autumn leave photos but your photos are unique and very inspiring. We’ve had a mild autumn so far and very few storms so still have plenty leaves to ‘play ‘ with!

I like the contrast of two shots with multiple leaves juxtaposed against the shot with only a single leaf featured. I also like that in the first, the leaves aren’t in focus and in the third only some of them are.

I’m fascinated by that first one, which I love. There’s plenty of depth of field in the tree but the leaves are out of focus. Is it a reflection? Upside down?
