water, water everywhere

Living on a small island, I’m surrounded by water. It’s a constant presence: the ever-changing patterns of light on its surface, the rhythm of its movements, its scent of salt and seaweed. I can’t escape it — nor would I wish to.

Beautiful. I wouldn’t want to walk there without shoes, though. 🙂 Mountains are my drug, but an ocean (or water) works well if mountains aren’t around. Of course, mountains and a lake are a heavenly combination.

Love the way you have “captured” this wave. I’m with you too – I am always happiest close to water:)

Escape from paradise? Long exposures… sunsets… sunrises… storms and clouds… you lucky person. Is a job vacant nearby? We pack suitcases in hours… Have a nice weekend. Reinhold

Living on an island is wonderful. I just came back from a month on a Greek island. I was astonished how quickly the weather changes there. Suddenly you have waves and wind etc. Very beautiful photo.
