Our recent show melted and while there’s no deluge with today’s unseasonably warm weather, we do have what my dad used to call “a grand slop-a-rye.” I have not idea how to spell that last word, but that’s how it sounded and that’s what it was like on the path today!!
Pretty! We have had rain here this month … RAIN in February!! Very strange. While last year was the winter that wouldn’t end, this year is the winter that wasn’t!

Never heard of that term, but it’s very colourful!
I’ve never heard it anywhere else, but it’s part of my childhood lexicon.
We still have winter although I think spring will be early this year.
